Gomoku Fishing and Family Fishing (half-day) Tour in Ishigaki Island
Enjoy a fun fishing experience for the whole family in the beautiful ocean of Ishigaki Island. In this half-day tour, you will also have a chance to catch the three most expensive fish, reddish-brown sea bream. Experienced staffs will support you, so beginners and women can participate without worries!
Beginning fishermen are also welcome!

Time of year for fishing species
It varies depending on the currents of the year, but is generally as follows
- Bluefin Squid January – May
- Gurukun April-September
- Yellowtails May-July
- Kampachi October-April
- Tuna, reddish-brown rootfish April-June

Cooking methods such as sashimi, grilled fish, etc. can be discussed!
We can also arrange for a tavern where you can bring in large fish such as tuna (prior consultation required).

How to contact us after making a tour reservation
After a reservation is made, the guide in charge will call (or e-mail) you by the day before the tour to inform you of the details.
Please note that we may have to decline your reservation in case the tour is fully booked.
About pick up and drop off
We can pick you up at your hotel in Ishigaki Island.
The guide in charge will inform you the pick-up time and other details after the reservation is confirmed.
Precautions
- Please consult with us in advance if you have any concerns about your health or physical condition.
- For your safety, please follow the guide’s instructions during the tour.
- Please be responsible for your own actions and take frequent breaks.
- If the staff determines that your health, physical condition, or skill level is such that we cannot ensure your safety, you may not be allowed to participate or continue the tour.
- Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited on the tour.
Clothing and personal belongings
- Please refrain from wearing high heeled, unstable shoes as they are dangerous.
- Please note that the tour time and points may be changed or the tour may be cancelled due to weather or sea conditions.
- We recommend that those who get easily intoxicated take an anti-sickness medicine.
- It is surprisingly cold on the sea, so we recommend that you bring a jacket.
Other Notes
The boat has a roof to protect you from the sun and a toilet.
Please follow the instructions of the staff and guides while on board.
Cancellation Policy
You are deemed to have agreed to the Terms and Conditions at the time of application.
If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible.
In the event of cancellation for your convenience, the following cancellation fees will apply
- The day before: 50% of the reservation fee
- On the day of cancellation: 100% of the reservation fee
- Cancellation without notice: 100% of the reservation fee
Please note that the above cancellation fees will apply to cancellations for any reason, including illness.
