Snorkeling at the miraculous “Barasu Island
Barras Island is a miraculous island made entirely of coral fragments. Surrounding the island is a beautiful sea with a gradation of colors ranging from emerald green to marine blue.
Enjoy snorkeling in the crystal clear underwater world of colorful coral reefs and graceful tropical fish!
Sunset in the mangrove forest by SUP/canoe
After snorkeling, enjoy a sunset cruise in the mangrove forest! As the sun sets, enjoy the fantastic silhouettes of the mangrove forests as they are dyed by the setting sun.
Cruise leisurely on a sap or canoe. Relax your body and mind by listening to the sounds of nature in the silence.
Difference between SUP and Canoe
Sap is attractive for its sense of freedom, as you stand on a board and paddle to enjoy the scenery from a high vantage point. It is also an effective form of exercise, as it requires the body’s core to maintain balance.
Canoeing is recommended for beginners as well, as it is stable because you sit down to paddle. It is ideal for those who want to enjoy the scenery in a relaxed manner.

1. Pick up and drop off
Pick up and drop off area is Uehara Port in Iriomote Island and hotels in Uehara area in Iriomote Island.
2. How to contact us after booking the tour
The guide will contact you by e-mail or phone when the reservation is confirmed.
The guide will contact you the day before the reservation date for details such as pick up and drop off, meeting time, etc.
3. Eligibility
For safety reasons, the following are not permitted to participate in the tour.
・Pregnant
・Drunk or hungover
・Pacemaker or heart problems
・People with respiratory problems (asthma, etc.) (plans including snorkeling/canyoning)
・People with mental disorders (epilepsy, dementia, developmental disorders, panic disorder, etc.)
・Cardiovascular problems
・Cerebrovascular problems
・People with physical disabilities
・People with diabetes
・People with hearing or visual impairment only
*Please consult with us in advance if you wish to participate in the tour accompanied by a helper or interpreter.
・People who weigh 100 kg or more (for plans including SUP canoeing/canyoning)
・People with other chronic illnesses, fevers, injuries, etc.
*Please inform us in advance if your symptoms are not so serious.
・For SUP, the minimum age is 12 years old; if you have children between 6 and 11 years old, please choose canoeing.
4. Tour cancellation
・Depending on the season and field conditions on the day of the tour, the meeting and dismissal times may vary. The store will contact you the day before the tour with details about the meeting place and time.
・Tour schedule is subject to change depending on the weather, tide level, and number of participants on the day of the tour.
The tour will be held rain or shine. However, we reserve the right to cancel the tour if we deem the field to be unsafe.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the customer for any reason will incur the following cancellation fees.
・Cancellation up to 5 days before the tour: Free of charge
・Cancellation 4 days before the tour to 18:00 the day before: 50%
・Cancellation after 18:00 the day before or without notice: 100% of the participation fee
Please contact the e-mail address (or phone number) listed in the reservation confirmation e-mail for any change or cancellation of the tour.
6. Other
・Please change into clothes you do not mind getting wet before the tour.
・Please use the restroom before coming to the tour. (There are no restrooms near the site.)
・Please contact us in advance if you will be late.
・We will guide you to the best field depending on the wind direction, tide level, and crowds on the day of the tour.
*There is a possibility that we will guide you to the sea instead of the mangrove.
