Plan Overview
Ishigaki Island is surrounded by emerald green sea. We introduce a luxurious plan that is not just for sightseeing, but to feel the nature and enjoy Ishigaki Island in an active way.
You can enjoy the crystal clear ocean of Kabira Bay, SUP or canoeing in the mangrove forest surrounded by silence, snorkeling in the mysterious blue cave, and other 3 representative scenic spots in Ishigaki Island.
Experienced guides will carefully support you so that even beginners can enjoy the tour.
Kabira Bay: A walk on the water in an emerald green paradise
Kabira Bay, renowned as one of the most beautiful bays in the world, has been selected as one of the “100 most beautiful sceneries in Japan” for its beauty.
The countless coral reefs floating on the calm surface of the water and the gradation between the sky and the sea are too beautiful to be described in words.
In Kabira Bay, you can enjoy a SUP or canoeing experience.
Enjoy a blissful time swaying on the calm surface of the water and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The location is also very photogenic and ideal for taking pictures that will look great on SNS.
What is the difference between SUP and canoeing?
SUP is a popular marine activity in recent years that gives the sensation of walking on water.
While developing a sense of balance, you can stroll slowly around the bay and observe coral and fish up close.
Clear SUP (Sap), which allows you to see through the water, is also available as an option.
Canoes can accommodate two people, so couples, friends, and families can enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable canoeing experience together.
Because canoes are designed for two people, they are highly stable, and beginners can also participate with ease.
Feature | SUP | Canoe |
Number of passengers | 1 passenger | 1 to 2 passengers |
How to ride | Stand on the board and paddle | Sit and row |
Field of View | A high vantage point from which to view the surroundings. | Close proximity to the water allows you to enjoy the surrounding scenery up close. |
Type of paddle | Single blade paddle (only one side paddle) | Double bladed paddle (with blades on both sides) |
For Beginners | Relatively stable for beginners, but requires balance to stand | Even beginners can enjoy it. |
Mangrove forests: Healing moments in a natural paradise of tranquility
The hirugi forests of the Miyara River are designated as a natural monument and are a valuable natural environment with a unique ecosystem.
Species such as the mangrove, the white-bellied mangrove, and the Yaeyama mangrove are mainly seen, forming a mangrove ecosystem unique to brackish waters where seawater and fresh water mix.
In these mangrove forests, visitors can enjoy a SUP or canoeing experience.
The roots of the mangroves are home to a variety of creatures, making them ideal for nature observation. Enjoy the rich nature as you slowly move along the surface of the water.
You can choose from two time slots, early morning or evening, depending on the tide, to suit your schedule.
Blue Cave: Mysterious Space and Encounter with Sea Turtles
The Blue Cave is a mysterious space where sunlight shines deep into the sea, creating a fantastic blue glow.
Snorkeling is available around the Blue Cave.
If you are lucky, you may see sea turtles living around the Blue Cave. Experienced guides will lead you to the habitat of sea turtles while taking safety into consideration, so don’t worry even if this is your first time.
Enjoy a special experience that can only be had in the Blue Cave!
